İrvinq Lyuis Horovits
İrvinq Lyuis Horovits (ing. Irving Louis Horowitz; 25 sentyabr 1929, Nyu-York, Nyu-York ştatı – 21 mart 2012[1], Prinstom, Nyu Cersi) — ABŞ sosioloqu, yazıçısı, professoru. O, öz sahəsində geniş yazılar dərc etmiş və dərslər demişdir. Horovits Argentina, Hindistan, Yaponiya, Meksika, Kanada və Rusiya universitetlərində dərs demişdir. O, 1994-cü ildə nəşr etdirdiyi "Professing Sociology" kitabı ilə tanınır və o, burada, sosiologiyanın həddindən artıq ideoloji nəzəriyyəyə üstünlük verilməsi və siyasətə açıq-aşkar diqqət verilməməsi səbəbindən tənəzzülə uğradığını iddia etmişdir.[2]
