Above the plaque there is a replica of a wartime loudspeaker. Unveiled in 2002 on the corner of the city's main thoroughfare Nevsky Prospect avenue and pedestrian Malaya Sadovaya ulitsa street, a short walk from the city's broadcasting Radio House that worked throughout the war to inspire city residents and warn them of air raids from Nazi Germany
