English: “Great Victory of Pyongyang and Capture of Chinese Qing Generals” by Migita Toshihide (1863 - 1925), October 1894. Title (Original)：平壌大捷清将生捕之図 (Title romaji： Heijō taishō Shinshō ikedoru no zu). Five Chinese generals get on their knees begging for mercy in front of the four most important figures surrounding the battle at Pyongyang. From left to right L Colonel Satô, Major General Tatsumi, Lieutenant General Nozu and General Ôshima. On September 16, 1894, the Chinese surrendered to the Japanese army near Pyongyang, during the First Sino-Japanese War (1894-1895). Nishiki-e of the Battle of Pyongyang victory.
