Daşınar əmlak — qanunla daşınmaz əmlak kimi təsnif edilməyən hər hansı bir şey (pul və qiymətli kağızlar daxil olmaqla). Mobil evlər fikri özü yeni deyil, lakin [[ABŞ]]-da [[2008]]-ci il ipoteka böhranı ilə əlaqədar olaraq yenidən aktuallaşdı: il ərzində onların istehsalı 19% artdı və bu cür "daşınmaz əmlak" istehsal edən şirkətlərin müştəriləri həkimlər, hüquqşünaslar və təqaüdçülər idi. Bundan əlavə, səyyar ev məhkəmə qərarları və icra qərarları ilə ələ keçirilə bilməz və bu tip evlərin tikintisinə xərclənən vəsait 2-3 ay ərzində qaytarılır (20 illik bank kredit faizlərində zərər əvəzinə).
